Nice article, Michael. I will add, as others already did, that in order to do 10,000 experiments one probably will need 10,000+ hours of deliberate practice. So I'd rather not throw away the 10,000 hours of deliberate practice so quickly. In my understanding, we must combine both recommendations. To get very good at something, we need 10,000 hours of deliberate practice, which must include 10.000 experiments to generate tons of learning to make practice better.
